Are there age restrictions for Oh Ship?
Guests must be 18 years or older to attend.
Can I book with friends to ensure cabins are close together?
Yes, instalment options are available. You can pay any amount you want on a monthly basis. A deposit of R6000 is required to secure your cabin, with the balance payable 75 days prior to departure.
Where does embarkation take place?
Embarkation takes place at the Durban Cruise Terminal/ KCT (Kwazulu Natal Cruise Terminal).
What time should I arrive for embarkation?
Your specific check-in time is on your cruise ticket – please don’t come outside of this check-in time as this will cause delays for embarkation.
What documents do I need to board?
A valid passport (with at least 6 months validity) and your printed cruise ticket.
What’s included in the entertainment?
Multiple themed parties, DJ sets, comedy shows, beach parties, and special anniversary events are included.

What payment options are available onboard?
The ship operates a cashless system. You’ll receive a cruise card to charge purchases to your onboard account, payable via card or cash at the end.
Is Wi-Fi available onboard?
Yes, Wi-Fi packages are available for purchase. Coverage may vary while at sea.
When does disembarkation take place?
Disembarkation occurs on the final morning upon return to Durban. Specific times will be communicated during the cruise. Generally disembarkation starts from 06h00 until 09h00 on the Monday that we return.
What is the disembarkation process?
Guests are assigned disembarkation groups to ensure a smooth and timely exit. Instructions will be placed in your cabin the night before arrival.
What about customs and immigration when returning to South Africa?
Upon return, all guests must clear customs and present passports to South African immigration authorities before exiting the terminal.
